Ravishing! A Celebration of Beauty

When we hear the word "Ravishing," we think of exceptional beauty and attractiveness. It's a positive adjective used to describe something or someone that is very beautiful, captivating, or enchanting. For this exhibition, we have made a “relationship” between Edward Seago, Cedric Morris and Cecil Beaton. Three men who appreciated beauty in all forms. We have woven the works of three exceptional women artists; Lucy Corbett, Naomi Munuo and Lucy Perry, through this exhibition to create something truly Ravishing!

The Glory of Travel

As the year slows turns and we find ourselves heading to late Summer and drifting towards Autumn often our thoughts are on travel in the later part of the year. Before you reach for your passports, we seek to inspire your choice of destination in our presentation of a spectacular array of works from notable destinations in the South of France, Italy and Morocco. The shimmer of the heat of far flung destinations juxtapose with the sense of calm and contemplation. We are excited to showcase a variety of rich works by notable Contemporary artists who have travelled extensively themselves to bring their travels home onto canvas. These works have never been seen in the United Kingdom previously and we are excited to share these new to market pieces with you, some in a much larger format. The exhibition will feature works by both Modern and Contemporary artists.

In Celebration of Suffolk

After many years of being an international art dealer, Lucy Charles is delighted to be returning to the county where her heart truly belongs. In celebration of the opening of our new gallery we ask you to join us at our beautiful location in the Coastal Suffolk Countryside. We present a mixed exhibition which brings together a diverse array of pieces that celebrate the variety of nature to be found in our region and beyond. Through these works, artists navigate what the countryside and nature means to them, from the exploration of huge Suffolk skies to the careful observation of tiny bird’s nests.  The exhibition features both Modern and Contemporary works of art.
