Galerie Betty Charles is the result - a small, focussed gallery, where works are properly researched, where the questions a collector asks are answered in the same room and where beginning your collection feels less like a transaction than the start of a long conversation.

We are an un-common kind of gallery. Unlike most dealers we keep a dedicated legal team within the business - so that authentication, valuation and tax advice never sit outside the room they should be in.
Authentication & Research - Every work is identified, researched and authenticated by our in-house legal team before it reaches the wall.
Market & Insurance Valuations - Formal valuations for single works, full collections and private art foundations - alongside condition reports - defensible, documented and current.
Collector Programme - First-look access to works before the fairs in our viewing space within our gallery in Duke Street, Mayfair. Private viewings by invitation and a quiet education for newer collectors.
Collection Tax Advice - Guidance on the taxation position of personal collections, art as a portable and alternative asset, lifetime gifts and the structuring of private art foundations.
