GALERIE BETTY CHARLES JOINS LAPADA
THE MARK OF EXCELLENCE IN THE ART WORLD
Galerie Betty Charles is proud to announce its membership of LAPADA, the UK's largest and most respected association of professional art and antiques dealers, bringing collectors and buyers an unrivalled guarantee of quality, authenticity and trust.
Galerie Betty Charles, based in Suffolk is delighted to announce that it has been accepted as a member of LAPADA — The Association of Art & Antiques Dealers. This prestigious accreditation represents a significant milestone for the gallery and, most importantly, a meaningful assurance for every client who walks through our doors or browses our collection. Membership is not open to all. It is only offered to those who meet the Association's strict criteria regarding experience, quality of stock and depth of knowledge in their field LAPADA — a bar that Galerie Betty Charles is proud to have met.
What This Means for Our Clients & Collectors;
For collectors and buyers of fine art and paintings, LAPADA membership offers a set of protections and assurances that go far beyond a simple badge of honour.
LAPADA was the first antiques trade association to introduce a formal Code of Practice, the purpose of which is to reassure the public and give them confidence when making a purchase from a member. All members have agreed to abide by this strict Code, and in the unlikely event of a dispute, the Association provides a free Conciliation Service. The Code of Practice also ensures that all items on sale must be clearly and correctly labelled, including price — just look for the golden chandelier symbol — displayed in our gallery window and at any fair we attend — is the recognised sign of LAPADA membership. When you see it, you can buy with confidence.
Clients purchasing from Galerie Betty Charles will receive a full written invoice stating the gallery's trading details, a description of the work, details of any significant restoration, and the price paid — providing complete transparency at every stage.
LAPADA is also a founding member of The British Art Market Federation (BAMF) and a member of the international Federation of Dealers' Associations (CINOA) connecting Galerie Betty Charles to a wide network of international expertise and advocacy.
